Hey There!
My name is Dee!
Grab a coffee and take a seat and let me tell you about how God put this business in my lap!
My story with web design started with a job I had after college as a management coordinator. In this position I taught myself how to run and build WordPress websites for the four different businesses that I oversaw as a management coordinator. I spent a lot of time playing around with websites, and building and rebuilding them. During this position I also taught myself graphic design to help with all of their flyers, pamphlets and marketing material. Eventually I took over all marketing as well; I planned out all social media posts, tracked engagement, and handled paid advertisement for multiple businesses.
I left this position and eventually moved into sales for a couple of years in the dairy industry. I had a position where I was traveling around NY State to dairy farms and had an absolute blast doing it. Meeting so many men and women and chatting about their experiences while also selling them products that supported their dairy farms was so fun to me.
Although I loved working in sales, another chapter of my life came along that I loved even more: motherhood. In August of 2020 my husband and I welcomed our daughter into the world. I decided when I had her that I couldn’t imagine someone else watching her everyday so we made the decision for me to stay home.
When our daughter was about 9 months old, (we were also pregnant with our second child at this point!) a larger homesteading account on Instagram had posted to her story that she needed website help because she had been working days on an issue. I messaged her and said that I have worked on websites in the past and could take a look. Well I fixed her issues she had spent three days on in about 20 minutes. She shouted me out on her Instagram to her 50,000 followers. Immediately after I was getting messages from other homesteading/farm business Instagram accounts asking for help with website issues, web design, and graphic design.
I now have over 25+ clients, the majority of them being stay-at-home moms or work from home moms who write food blogs, farm blogs, make soups, sell their farm products, etc. My amazing clients are all over the United States and Canada. My favorite part about this business is connecting with so many other women who are moms just like me, who also have homesteads in their backyards. These mamas understand if I can’t get to something right away if I have a sick child or if we are in the middle of butchering rabbits (an actual true story!).
We now have three children that I am so blessed to stay home and raise, on top of a homestead where we raise our own animals for meat. I finally decided to create my very own website to share my story, but also so that I can grow my business locally to help and support local businesses to me.
